Textured Canvas Painting

Paintings are not always smooth and clean, somtimes it is fun to create with a lot of texture. We will prep our canvas with a basic texture and start from there.

This means no clean lines, anything we paint will look different here on out. Learning how to manipulate this is the learning aspect of this project.

This is a FOUR class project.

Creative Concept:

Except for the Girrafe everyother aspect of this painting will be redesigned by the student. We will learn about balancing colors (the balloon and the gift have the same color but are  composed on opposing side of the canvas to create balance. The animal the girrafe is looking at could be anything, what will your giraffe look at?

Materials will acrue a $25 fee which will be added to the base fee $160 (@ $40/day).

Summer Mini Project Structure:

• Refund: 100% Refund (upto $160) will be issued. This amount is minus the material fee. Refunds are issues upto 48 hrs before the workshop and at the descretion of the teacher thereafter. 
• Day 1: setting up the Canvas and designing our other elements.
• Day 2: Painting the giraffe
• Day 3: Designing and painting the Balloon and the Present
• Day 4: Painting in the Friend and the Clouds.
